Scholarship in honor of Archbishop Benjamin Dinner
The Parish Council of Holy Trinity Cathedral in San Francisco is seeking to endow a named scholarship for seminarians in honor of His Eminence, Archbishop Benjamin, on the occasion of his retirement. He has been our Archpastor in the Diocese of the West since 2007 and has served the church for over 40 years, as choir director, deacon, presbyter, and finally bishop and archbishop. The goal is to raise $25,000 for an endowed scholarship. No donation is too small. Please send your check to:

St. Mary Magdalene Feast Day – August 4th
This year will celebrate St. Mary Magdalene according to the old calendar since I will not be in town for the typical celebration of our feast. We will celebrate on Monday August 4th at 10:00am. It will be a special feast as we will have our bishop elect The Very Reverend Archimandrite Vitaly Permiakov and our Chancellor Archpriest Kirill Sokolov in attendance. I am hoping we can plan a nice fish luncheon and give you an opportunity to meet our bishop elect. Archimandrite Vitaly will be consecrated Bishop on August 16th at Holy Trinity Cathedral in San Francisco.
Thriving Parish Project
We will try and meet in late July to go over the small group discussion responses. We will wait for Jennifer to return from Hawaii.
